Preparations at Loudoun Hill - William Wallace
In the summer of 1296, Wallace would avenge the death of his father by staging an ambush at Loudoun Hill. This was the first time he would lead a force of fighting men, all close friends or family. He is shown here devising his strategy for the ambush with the volcanic plug of Loudoun Hill rising in to the night sky.
